What You Get When You Order Glasses from Lens & Co by Tiara

When you order glasses from Lens & Co by Tiara, you choose from over 100 frames, from light titanium and slim metal to bold, thick plastic and rimless styles, and you pick the lens that fits your day: anti blue light, photochromic, or photochromic blue cut. The lenses are clear indoors, cut glare with an anti-reflective coating and block UV400 rays, and a scratch-resistant coating is optional. Anti blue light lenses filter blue light from screens, photochromic lenses darken in the sun, and photochromic blue cut lenses do both in one pair. Prescription lenses are available, every pair comes with a free case and cleaning cloth, and you can find your face shape and try frames on virtually before you buy. We deliver anti blue light, computer and screen glasses in Nigeria to all 36 states and the FCT.

The lenses: blue light, anti-reflective, UV400 and clear indoors

The lens is the part that does the work, so it deserves a closer look. Our screen glasses combine these features in a lens that stays clear indoors, and you can add photochromic darkening if you want one pair for indoors and outdoors.

Scratch-resistant coating (optional)

Scratch resistance is optional. Choose it if your glasses live in a bag, a pocket or a shared desk drawer. We confirm the option and its price on WhatsApp before you pay. However, no coating makes a lens scratch-proof, so use the case that comes with your pair.

Which lens type should you choose?

Anti Blue LightDesk work, study, gamingClear and made for indoor screen use
PhotochromicTime outdoors in the sunClear indoors, darkens in sunlight, UV400
Photochromic Blue CutScreens and sun in one pairFilters screen light and darkens outdoors

Also, our guide on photochromic vs blue cut lenses helps you decide, and how photochromic glasses work in the Nigerian sun explains the darkening in detail.

Photochromic and photochromic blue cut glasses: one pair for the desk and the sun

Photochromic lenses are clear indoors and darken automatically in sunlight, so you do not need to swap between glasses and sunglasses. They also carry UV400 protection. Photochromic blue cut lenses add the screen-light filter on top, which makes them our most complete option for people who work at a screen and then step outside. Most of our frames can take either lens, so browse photochromic glasses or photochromic blue cut glasses. For real prices, see our photochromic glasses price guide.

An honest note on blue light glasses

Blue light glasses can make long screen sessions feel more comfortable for some people, but the evidence that they reduce eye strain is limited. The American Academy of Ophthalmology does not recommend them for eye strain, and a 2023 Cochrane review found they may make little difference to short-term eye strain. The College of Optometrists reached a similar view. Therefore, treat the glasses as one helpful tool for comfort and glare, and also follow the habits in the American Optometric Association guidance on computer vision syndrome: take breaks, adjust lighting and book an eye test. Our guide on whether blue light glasses are worth it in Nigeria goes deeper, and eye strain from screens lists quick fixes.

Screen glasses, computer glasses, blue ray glasses and anti blue light glasses: are they the same?

In most shops in Nigeria, yes. These names describe glasses with clear lenses that filter some blue light and often reduce glare for screen use. For example, a pair sold as computer glasses in one shop may be called anti blue light glasses or blue ray glasses in another. As a result, compare the lens type, the coatings and the price of each option instead of the label. Be careful with “anti radiation” claims, because that is a marketing label rather than a tested benefit, as our guide on anti radiation glasses explains. Finally, learn how to tell if blue light glasses are real before you buy from any seller.

Frames for every face and budget: lightweight, metal, bold plastic and rimless

Not every pair is the same, and that is on purpose. Some of our frames are very light, while others are thick, bold and heavier, so you can choose the look and feel you like instead of settling for one style. The range includes titanium, metal, plastic and rimless frames in round, square and cat eye shapes, and in small, medium and big sizes.

Frame types compared
Frame typeLook and feelGood to know
Lightweight titaniumVery light, strong and slimDoes not rust. See the titanium frames
Slim metalThin, neat and professionalA popular choice for office and client-facing work
Bold, thick plasticStatement style in many coloursCan weigh more than metal, so check the size first
RimlessAlmost no frame around the lensA very light look, but handle with care

Each product page lists the frame size, shape and the exact measurements (lens width, bridge and temple length in millimetres), and says whether the frame suits prescription lenses. Most frames are unisex. For example, browse big frames, medium frames or the full shop. If you are unsure which material lasts longest, read titanium, metal or plastic frames: which lasts longest.

Prescription lenses: you can still get all of this

If you already have a prescription, you can order it with the same frame range. Upload your prescription, choose your frame and lens, and we confirm your lenses, price and delivery date on WhatsApp before you pay. Prescription lenses are made through our partner opticians, so delivery timing depends on your lens type. Not every frame suits every prescription, and each product page says whether it can take prescription lenses. Lens & Co is an eyewear brand, not an eye clinic, so see a qualified optometrist for an eye test first.

A free case and cleaning cloth with every pair

Your glasses arrive with a free case and a cleaning cloth. They are small extras, but they protect your lenses from the scratches that cause most wear. As a tip, wipe the lenses with the cloth instead of your shirt, and put the glasses in the case when you are not wearing them. If you need more lens care items, they start from ₦500.

Find your face shape, then try the frame on first

Choosing a frame online is the hard part, so we added two free tools. First, the Face Shape Finder lets you take a live photo or upload one. It tells you if your face is round, oval, oblong, square or heart-shaped, and then recommends frames that suit that shape. Next, the virtual try-on places a frame on your camera view or photo, so you can compare styles before you buy. Some frames use a drawn shape at the real size until a photo-accurate version is added.

To go further, see our guide on how to choose glasses for your face shape, or start with your shape: round, oval, square, heart or oblong.

Who these glasses are for

Tech workers, bankers, consultants, lawyers and accountants

If your day is spreadsheets, code, decks, contracts and video calls, you spend hours in front of a screen. The clear lenses keep your eyes visible on calls, and the anti-reflective coating helps under office lights. Therefore, one pair works from the first meeting to the last email. Developers, UI and UX designers, product managers, data analysts, content creators and video editors get the same benefit from long days at a monitor. See our guide to the best glasses for working on a laptop all day.

Designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, remote workers and corporate employees

Whether you work from a co-working space, a home desk or a corporate office, the routine is similar: laptop, phone and long hours. Choose a lightweight titanium or metal frame for all-day comfort, or a bold plastic frame if you want a statement look, and the free case keeps your pair safe in your laptop bag. For a shortlist, read the best blue light glasses in Lagos.

University students at UNILAG, LASU, Babcock, Covenant, YABATECH and across Nigeria

Your eyes have exams too. Between lectures, reading, laptop assignments, gaming and social media, students spend long hours on screens, and budgets are tight. For that reason, glasses start from ₦10,000, and we deliver to every state, so students in any city can order. Read how much blue light glasses cost in Nigeria to plan your budget.

Gamers and heavy screen users

Long sessions on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or mobile mean hours of bright light and glare. Clear anti blue light lenses with an anti-reflective coating suit late-night sessions, and a lightweight frame is easier on your nose during long sessions. Still, take a short break every 20 minutes or so.

Anyone who wants the frame to complete the look

Glasses are also a style choice, whether your look is corporate, minimalist or bold, and our range runs from slim metal and rimless to thick statement frames. Use the face shape finder to see which frames suit you, then compare them with the try-on. As a result, you choose a frame because you like it, not just because it is practical.

Nationwide delivery across Nigeria

Read the delivery policy and the refund and returns policy. If you live outside Lagos, see buying glasses online in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan and other states.

Frequently asked questions about ordering glasses from Lens & Co

What do you get when you order glasses from Lens & Co by Tiara?

You get a choice of over 100 frames, from lightweight titanium and slim metal to bold plastic and rimless styles, with clear indoor lenses in your choice of anti blue light, photochromic or photochromic blue cut. The lenses have an anti-reflective coating and UV400 protection, and a scratch-resistant coating is optional. Prescription lenses are available, every pair comes with a free case and cleaning cloth, and delivery covers all 36 states and the FCT.

Do you sell photochromic glasses in Nigeria?

Yes. Photochromic lenses are clear indoors and darken in the sun with UV400 protection, and photochromic blue cut lenses add a screen light filter, so one pair works at your desk and outdoors. Most of our frames can take either lens. Delivery time depends on the lens type, and we confirm it on WhatsApp before you pay.

Does Lens & Co have lightweight frames?

Yes. We have a wide variety of frames, and lightweight options are among them, including our very light titanium range and slim metal styles. If you prefer a different look, you can also choose bold, thick plastic frames, metal frames and rimless styles, in round, square and cat eye shapes and in small, medium and big sizes. Choose by look, size and comfort. Each product page lists the measurements, and the virtual try-on helps you see how a frame looks on your face.

Do you sell metal, rimless and thick plastic frames?

Yes. The range includes titanium, slim metal, bold plastic and rimless frames in round, square and cat eye shapes, and in small, medium and big sizes. Each product page says whether the frame suits prescription lenses, so check it before you order.

Are Lens & Co glasses good for computer and screen work?

Yes, they are made for it. Anti blue light and photochromic blue cut lenses filter part of the blue light from laptops, phones and TV, and the anti-reflective coating reduces glare from screens and lights. However, no glasses replace breaks, good lighting and an eye test, so use them as one part of a healthier screen routine.

Do blue light glasses actually work?

They can make long screen sessions feel more comfortable for some people, but the evidence is limited. The American Academy of Ophthalmology does not recommend them for eye strain, and a 2023 Cochrane review found they may not reduce short-term eye strain from computer work. Therefore, choose them for comfort, glare control and fit, and also take regular breaks.

Are computer glasses, screen glasses and anti blue light glasses the same thing?

In most shops in Nigeria they are the same product under different names: glasses with clear lenses that filter some blue light and often reduce glare for screen use. Therefore, a pair sold as anti blue light glasses, blue ray glasses, screen glasses or computer glasses usually does the same job. Check the lens type, the coatings and the price of each option instead of the label.

What is UV400 and why does it matter?

UV400 means the lens blocks ultraviolet light up to 400 nanometres, which covers UVA and UVB rays. It matters outdoors because the World Health Organization lists ultraviolet exposure as a risk factor for cataract. Our photochromic lenses darken in the sun and carry UV400 protection.

What is the difference between anti blue light and photochromic lenses?

Anti blue light lenses stay clear and are made for indoor screen use. Photochromic lenses are clear indoors and darken in sunlight, and photochromic blue cut lenses do both. In short, pick anti blue light for desk work, and pick photochromic blue cut if you move between screens and the sun.

Do photochromic lenses darken inside a car?

Usually only a little. Photochromic lenses darken in response to UV light, and most car windscreens block much of it, so the lenses stay lighter inside a car and darken outdoors.

Is the scratch-resistant coating included?

Scratch resistance is optional, so you can add it if you want extra protection against everyday marks. We confirm the option and the price with you on WhatsApp before you pay. Also remember that no coating makes lenses scratch-proof, so keep your glasses in the case.

Can I get prescription lenses at Lens & Co?

Yes. Upload your prescription on the prescription page, pick your frame and lens, and we confirm your lenses, price and delivery date on WhatsApp before you pay. Prescription lenses are made through our partner opticians, and not every frame suits every prescription. Lens & Co is an eyewear brand, not an eye clinic, so see a qualified optometrist for an eye test.

How do I know which frame suits my face?

Use the free Face Shape Finder. Take a live photo or upload one, and it tells you if your face is round, oval, oblong, square or heart-shaped, then shows frames that suit that shape. Next, check the frames on yourself with the virtual try-on.

Do you deliver glasses outside Lagos?

Yes, to all 36 states and the FCT. Delivery in Lagos usually takes 24 to 48 hours, and other states take 3 to 7 working days after production. The exact time depends on your lens type, and we confirm the delivery fee and date before your order ships.

How much do Lens & Co glasses cost?

Glasses start from ₦10,000, which makes a first pair realistic for students, and go up to ₦49,500 depending on the frame and lens type. Lens care accessories start from ₦500. The price of each lens option shows on the product page before you pay.

Are the glasses suitable for students and gamers?

Yes. Students and gamers spend long hours on laptops, phones and consoles, so the clear lenses and anti-reflective coating suit them well. The lowest-priced frames start from ₦10,000, and the face shape finder helps you choose a style you will enjoy wearing.
